Intake Process
When you reach out to Transcend Clinic, one of our intake specialists will connect with you to discuss your unique needs and answer any questions you may have. We will give you a detailed overview of the process and discuss your general medical history and any current medications you are taking. Sometimes a follow up call with the physician may be required to ensure a thorough assessment of your medical background.. We maintain ongoing communication after the initial assessment to address any additional questions that may arise as your treatment date approaches.
We are committed to you and will be available for any calls or inquiries throughout this entire process.
Once you have chosen a program at Transcend we will book you in for treatment. Our programs typically last from 7-10 days but patients who are heavily dependent on opioids, or actively using other substances, may need additional time at our facility.
If you are making a reservation for someone else, please know that we will need to speak with the patient directly before we can confirm them for treatment. We need to fully understand each patient’s specific circumstances prior to arrival to ensure best possible care.
Upon confirmation of your reservation, travel arrangements should be made to Cancun International Airport (CUN). Please note that a valid passport is required for entry into Mexico. We are here should you need assistance with travel arrangements. If you need help securing a passport or a visa we offer expedited services.
We organize private ground transportation from the airport to our facility for each patient to ensure a smooth arrival process. We understand that friends and family may want to accompany you on this journey, and we support that. However, ground transportation and overnight accommodations at our facility are reserved exclusively for patients.
To minimize travel stress, we recommend arriving on a morning or early afternoon flight.
Upon arrival you will go through customs and immigration. Please make sure to follow all international laws and regulations and do not bring any illegal drugs or items with you.
A representative of the clinic will meet you outside the arrivals area and escort you to our facility. Once at the clinic, we will begin your intake process and make sure you are comfortable and prepared for your stay.
