Transcend Clinic Cancún, S. de R.L. de C.V. confirms that on January 24, 2026, members of our clinical staff detected an irregular situation involving a patient during a session. Our team intervened immediately upon detection to ensure the patient’s safety. Medical attention was provided on-site, and the patient was subsequently transferred to a local hospital for comprehensive evaluation and continued care.
The institution promptly notified the authorities. The practitioner is currently in custody and facing criminal charges.
Institutional Response
Transcend Clinic Cancún, S. de R.L. de C.V. maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of misconduct. Upon detection, our clinic staff intervened immediately to secure the patient’s safety. All association with the individual involved was terminated permanently and effective immediately. All relevant evidence was preserved and delivered to the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Quintana Roo. Law enforcement authorities were notified proactively by the institution. The patient and family have received full logistical, emotional, and legal support in exercising their rights.

Nuestro equipo intervino de inmediato al momento de la detección para garantizar la seguridad del paciente. Se brindó atención médica en el lugar y posteriormente el paciente fue trasladado a un hospital local para una evaluación integral y la continuidad de su atención.
La institución notificó de manera inmediata a las autoridades. El profesional involucrado se encuentra actualmente bajo custodia y enfrenta cargos penales.
Respuesta Institucional
Transcend Clinic Cancún, S. de R.L. de C.V. mantiene una política de cero tolerancia frente a cualquier forma de conducta indebida. Al momento de la detección, el personal de la clínica intervino de inmediato para salvaguardar la seguridad del paciente. Toda relación con la persona involucrada fue terminada de manera permanente y con efecto inmediato. Toda la evidencia relevante fue preservada y entregada a la Fiscalía General del Estado de Quintana Roo. Las autoridades de seguridad pública fueron notificadas de forma proactiva por la institución. El paciente y su familia han recibido apoyo logístico, emocional y legal integral para el ejercicio de sus derechos.
Posición Institucional
Ninguna institución puede prevenir por completo la conducta delictiva de un individuo. Lo que una institución puede y debe hacer es mantener protocolos sólidos de detección, intervención inmediata y respuesta decisiva. En este caso, dichos protocolos funcionaron conforme a lo previsto: la situación fue detectada por el personal, la intervención fue inmediata, el paciente fue protegido y el asunto fue reportado a las autoridades sin demora.
Transcend Clinic Cancún, S. de R.L. de C.V. condena en los términos más enérgicos la conducta que se encuentra bajo investigación, la cual es totalmente incompatible con nuestros valores institucionales, estándares profesionales y los principios que guían nuestro trabajo.
Estamos comprometidos con la plena transparencia y con la cooperación continua con las autoridades hasta que este asunto quede resuelto. Asimismo, estamos comprometidos con la protección de los datos personales y la privacidad de todas las personas involucradas, de conformidad con la legislación aplicable.
En respuesta a este incidente, la institución está llevando a cabo una revisión integral de los protocolos internos para fortalecer aún más las salvaguardas para todos los pacientes.
